HOKKAN HOLDINGS LIMITED
Kosuke IkedaPresident and representative director
Thanks to your continued support, we celebrated our 100th anniversary in October 2021.
I would like to extend my deep gratitude to our customers, business partners, and all stakeholders for their assistance and cooperation.
Since founded in 1921 as a manufacturer of cans for food in Otaru, Hokkaido, we have continued to grow our business to date by expanding into such business fields as filling and machinery production, while also expanding overseas to Indonesia, Vietnam, and other countries.
We believe that our growth over the past 100 years was realized because we continued to deliver products and services by sincerely responding to customer's needs and leveraging our innovative capabilities built on a foundation of manufacturing tradition.
We will sustainably evolve and develop as a company with vitality and presence by continuing to meet customer's needs, while adapting with agility to the ever changing business environment, including appropriate response to the current COVID crisis.
Upon reaching the milestone of the 100th anniversary, the HOKKAN Group decided to renew our corporate philosophy system with an aim to adapt to the changing times.
Building on the pioneering spirit inherited from our founders, we developed our new “Corporate Philosophy” as well as a “Group Vision,” “Group Strategy,” and “Basic Policy on Sustainability” to clarify our raison d’etre and mission and lay out our path forward into the future.
The values and guidelines established in our new corporate philosophy system will form the basis of all our business activities from now on. We will enhance mid-to long-term corporate value by addressing various social issues and growing in each of our business fields.
We greatly appreciate your continued support and guidance. Thank you.

MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Medium-Term Business Plan
In May 2022, our group has established the VENTURE-5, our medium-term business plan for fiscal year 2022 to 2026 and we have engaged in achieving the target.
However, though having positive changes such as recovery trend from the COVID-19 pandemic, there were severe business environment changes such as energy and raw material cost surge. In addition, our group has discontinued the business of beverage cans in our container business segment and the precondition of the business plan has greatly changed in one year.
Therefore, considering the business performance of fiscal year 2022, we have decided to review our plan for the fiscal year 2023 to 2026.
